Graston Technique

The Graston Technique is a form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to break down scar tissue. It uses stainless steel instruments to detect and treat areas that exhibit soft tissue fibrosis and chronic inflammation.

Physical and occupational therapists, hand therapists, chiropractors and athletic trainers use GT. The Injury Rehabilitation Centre staff is specifically trained in administering the Graston Technique. Our staff uses GT to:

  • Help decrease the overall length of treatment
  • Foster a quicker recovery
  • Reduce the need for anti-inflammatories
  • Resolve chronic conditions
